Loading and unloading the products:
Manual for smaller blocks or with the help of an electric hoist for
blocks weighing over 30 kg.
Work scraps:
The work scraps obtained from the pitching are recovered using a “U”
shaped raceway and from there channelled into a container of about
50 cm in height.
Frequency:
1 piece about every 5 seconds from the moment the START cycle is
launched.
The loading and unloading times are not considered however, which
can vary largely depending on the size of the piece.
Operation:
The blocks to be pitched are positioned manually and symmetrically
between the 4 blades of the pitching machine.
Once the slab or the block has been inserted and the START CYCLE
button has been pressed, the block is first clamped by a clamping
unit and then pitched first with the horizontal blades and then with
the vertical ones.
The scraps produced by the pitching fall down and are recovered by
the raceway.
Once the pitching operation has finished, the piece is recovered by
the operator.
The pitching phase finishes at this point and the cycle starts again
when a new piece is inserted.
The pitching takes place without moving the block and hence with a
perfect perimeter.
The machine can be made automatic for the automatic positioning of
the pieces.
